Jipyong’s Global Practice Group organizes a separate Global Energy Project Team consisting of experts in the energy industry, finance, M&A, and foreign investment sectors to provide optimized legal services based on its excellent expertise and accumulated work experience in advising on the development, acquisition, sale, etc. of international energy projects involving foreign capital in the fields of renewable energy such as solar power, wind power, ESS, and fuel cells, as well as traditional power generation projects such as LNG, nuclear power, and combined heat and power generation.
The Global Energy Project Team provides all advice on various and possible issues in regard to various stages of any international energy project, including permits and licenses at the development stage (such as electricity business license, development activity permits and implementation plan approvals), project financing, equity investments in project companies, power plant construction, completion and commercial operation, etc.
The main customers of the Global Energy Project Team are diversely distributed across the private and public sectors, including domestic and foreign renewable energy development companies, companies engaged in traditional energy businesses, financial institutions that finance energy projects, and government agencies such as the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Power Exchange, and provide legal solutions that solve practical issues rather than standardized and uniform advice in the field of international energy investment projects.
