The head of Central & Eastern Europe and Senior Advisor Mr. James Chang brought in Wireless LAN from US company AERONet as Korea’s first during his time at Daesang Information Technology. Further, working for Canadian company MPR saw Mr. Chang staying in Canada to handle the company’s M&A activities. Mr. Chang then worked for venture company Uniwide Technology as its head of management and overseas business, successfully listing the company on KOSDAQ, Korea’s main stock exchange, in April 2000 and establishing a branch office in the U.S. Mr. Chang also worked for a company in Daejeon, Korea and successfully secured UK, Japan and China-bound export contracts worth upwards of USD 10 million and secured investments of approximately USD 4 million.

Further, Mr. Chang also worked for Office 24 after setting up the joint venture company. He worked as the company’s overseas business advisor for 7 years at the company’s expansion in Japan. Among others, he pursued Office 24’s listing on the Korean stock exchange, contracted with U.S. company MBE as the counsel of Office 24’s Japanese operations and participated in the establishment of MBE Korea.

The head of Central & Eastern Europe and Senior Advisor Mr. Chang possesses strong business networks around the globe as a result of his diverse business experiences with approximately 40 countries and has advised Japanese and Korean companies seeking to expand overseas in Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar. Currently, he is the head of Central & Eastern Europe, where he advises clients on various needs throughout Central and Eastern Europe, including Hungary and Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, etc. He utilizes his fluency in Korean, English and Japanese, various experiences working in both domestic and international companies and his expertise accumulated for 20 years of exposure to overseas business to provide highly tailored advice to clients.
