Jipyong Receives Top Honors in Construction Law and Trust Categories at the 2025 Construction Compliance Awards

On December 18, Jipyong was honored with the top awards in both the Construction Legal Services and Trust categories at the 2025 Construction Compliance Awards, held at the Construction Hall in Gangnam, Seoul. 
 
The Construction Compliance Awards, co-hosted by Daehan Economy and the Legal Affairs Council of Korea’s Tier-1 General Contractors, recognizes law firms based on a comprehensive evaluation of their professional capabilities and client satisfaction, conducted through document reviews and surveys. 
 
This year, Jipyong advised KB Asset Management on the sale of the Seoul International Tower (SI Tower) in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.  In this KRW 900 billion transaction, Jipyong provided professional advice from the initial structuring stage to accommodate the needs of both existing and new investors.  Jipyong received the top award in the Construction Legal Services category for its highly-regarded systematic approach to coordinating stakeholder interests and conducting risk assessments. 
 
Jipyong also advised KB Real Estate Trust on the sale of Gangnam N Tower, located on Teheran-ro in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.  For this transaction, structured as a share deal (capital reorganization), Jipyong earned the top prize on the Trust category.  The firm was recognized for its strengths in analyzing and navigating practical issues and its proactive approach to identifying structural risks.  Seung Hwan LEE, who led both award-winning matters, attended the ceremony to accept the honors.
