JIPYONG Established Jipyong IP

On November 15, 2024, Jipyong held a signing ceremony to announce its strategic partnership with Eruum & Leeon IP Law Firm (“Eruumleeon”) to establish Jipyong IP. Jipyong IP aims to provide integrated total services for intellectual property and technology law in the rapidly changing industry environment through its synergy with  Eruumleeon. 
 
Eruumleeon is a patent law firm comprised of more than 100 technical experts, including 32 patent attorneys, and has provided professional services such as filing, prosecution and consulting in various fields such as mechanical, semiconductor, electronics, aerospace, AI, data, chemical, bio, nano, trademark design, etc. Eruumleeon has changed its name to Jipyong IP and from now on will provide services across the technology and intellectual property law practices by combining the technology expertise of Eruumleeon with the legal expertise of Jipyong. Through this partnership, Jipyong plans to substantially reinforce not only its intellectual property disputes and advisory practices, but also its technology-based advisory and litigation services. 
 
Jipyong IP will strengthen our IP practice, encompassing domestic and international IP application, technology analysis and evaluation, patent prosecution and patent litigation. Jipyong and Jipyong IP also plan to establish a joint technology law platform to offer a full range of services. Engineers who have majored engineering and natural sciences, and technical lawyers and patent attorneys who have experience working in tech companies will work together to provide integrated and seamless legal services, including R&D, M&A, technology transactions, technology finance, antitrust and technology theft, product liability, dispute resolution and defect litigation. 
 
Jipyong IP will enable Jipyong to bring forth a new paradigm of technology law practice to the legal market in Korea, with its expertise in technology, business and law.
