On September 19, Jipyong successfully hosted the 'Oman-Korea Trade and Investment Seminar' with Addleshaw Goddard LLP, a UK law firm, and the Oman Embassy in Korea, which also provided the venue for the event.
The Honorable Ambassador of Oman to Korea, Mohamed Salim Alharthy, opened the session with his 'Welcome Address and Introduction to Oman and Investment Opportunities and Incentives', which was followed by a presentation on 'Doing Business in Oman' by Mr. Nasser Al Habsi, of Addleshaw Goddard LLP.
Jipyong's Ms. Hye Jung Ryu followed with a presentation on the 'Legal Framework for Korea-Oman Investment and Trade' based on her extensive experience in advising on investments in the Middle East, Russia and the CIS regions. She was followed by Jipyong's Ms. Jane Young Sohn, who gave a presentation on 'Investing in Oman' based on her experience in advising corporate investors while at the Dubai office of Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP.
Emcee of the seminar, Jipyong’s Ms. Jinhee Kim, stated, "I hope that those interested in investment in Oman obtained useful and substantive information from this seminar."
